Ruth Hetzendorfer was raised as a preacher's kid in a Foursquare denomination. Married at the age of 23 her husband left her 12 years later with two children. After going through a difficult betrayal and divorce, Ruth started on her road to healing and recovery. Since that time she received her Doctorate in counseling. She taught at several Christian and secular colleges and has counseled for over 20 years. Ruth has taught many divorce recovery seminars as well as engagement and marriage seminars. She has spoken at single's retreats and conventions. The Pastoral Counseling Handbook - a guide to help the hurting is Ruth's first book that has been published.
Ruth's desire is to help teach churches practical ways to help the hurting.
